Domaine De Villaine Rully 1er Cru comes from the blend of 1er Crus Margotés, Grésigny, Montpalais, Cloux, Raclot et Rabourcé. This typicality of the terroir gives wines with a frank and fruity character, sometimes mineral but always possessing a fine and dense bouquet.

Domaine De Villaine Bouzeron 2022 comes from Aligoté vines located on the best slopes of the Appellation. Since settling in Bouzeron in 1973, the estate has selected the very old Bouzeron vines of so-called "golden" varieties which give smaller yields and finer aromatic wines.

With such low yields caused by the devastating frost of April 2021, Domaine de Villaine made the wise decision to blend all of its red Burgundy plots into a single vintage. Located in the south-west of the village, this climat en Monopole was purchased by the estate in 2003 after a fifty-year lease. It is the smallest appellation in Burgundy - even smaller than Romanée-Conti.

In the Côte des Vaillons, there are 8 distinct lieux-dits which may be at the origin of this appellation. The nose is pronounced with notes of fruit and flowers, beautiful freshness and minerality. The palate is generous and refined, with a beautiful roundness.
